Workshop #1: Innovative technologies at hospitals – US + Canada
The MFA representatives from the USA and Canada will introduce the current use of labour-saving technologies at hospitals in the USA and the Canada and participants will gain insight into the main public/ political and private initiatives driving the use of these technologies at hospitals. Secondly, the presentation will touch on the market opportunities for Danish companies with the mention of successes Danish export stories.

Workshop#2: Treatment at home – France + Germany
The MFA representatives from France and Germany will briefly present the political priorities propelling the move to more treatment at home as an alternative to hospital treatment in the two countries. The French and German policies will then be contrasted to the Danish priorities on the same area. Finally, the representatives will talk to the commercial opportunities of Danish companies in the two markets, comparing market entries through public and private channels.

Workshop 3: Living with a chronic disease – Mexico + Brazil

The MFA representatives from Brazil and Mexico will give a brief account of the tendencies in healthcare when it comes to chronic diseases in the two countries, emphasising the areas that see the largest increases. The two representatives will then talk to the export activities and current presence of Danish companies in both markets, including the LATAM region as a whole, touching also on the opportnity of local production. Finally, there will be a focus on the diverse export entry channels that exist at both public and private level.

Workshop 4: Digital health and innovation – Japan + Korea

The MFA representatives from Japan and South Korea will outline the progress of digitalisation in the Japanese and South Korean healthcare systems and give an account on the use of digital-driven solutions in the private care sector in both countries. The representatives will then give an overview of the current policies and government strategies on the area of digitalisation and AI, before delving into potential market opportunities for Danish companies offering digital solutions.
