Fair: Downtown Design in Dubai 2024 - The Anchor Event of Dubai Design Week
Danish Industry (DI) and Creative Denmark invite you to exhibit at Downtown Design - the leading design fair in the Middle East. Denmark will have approximately 100 sqm centrally located at the fair, and attending Danish companies will be part of a curated exhibition by the visionary Yvonne Koné.
The Middle East’s platform for design brands, manufacturers, and independent creatives to gain exposure in the MENASA market and forge meaningful connections with industry professionals as well as relevant end-consumers.
Downtown Design presents the latest in high-quality, contemporary design to the region, with an emphasis on commercial opportunity and brand visibility, allowing exhibitors to enhance brand awareness in the market while accessing the most relevant B2B and B2C audiences.
As the anchor event of Dubai Design Week and owned by Art Dubai Group, the Downtown Design fair is at the centre of design in the region. It brings together established and emerging names from the international design scene within dedicated sections, featuring the latest collections and innovative solutions by brands and manufacturers from around the world, alongside limited-edition and bespoke works by studios and independent designers, with a spotlight on rising talent from the region.

The Danish Space
Denmark will have a central location in the fair hall of Downtown Design, taking place at the d3 Waterfront in Dubai Design District (d3). Curation will be handled by Yvonne Koné, with a vision of bringing Danish design into the local context. Yvonne Koné is among Denmark’s preeminent designers, previously recognized for her architectural approach to form, colors and craftsmanship but has also vast experience with different curation tasks. Guided by an intuitive understanding of the world in all its imperfection, change, and contradiction, Yvonne Koné is inspired by creating sensory experiences that insist on their existence in subtle forms.
As an exhibitor at Downtown Design, you will have:
