ENERGY EFFICIENCY 2.0 - Rethinking the Danish export case

11.45 – 12.30

Background

Energy efficiency is a topic of growing relevance as still more companies strive for improved energy and resource efficiency in line with increasing global targets. Denmark’s experience and Danish solutions are in high demand abroad – and Danish companies are increasingly using energy efficiency as a selling point for their products and services.

Danish Industry has taken an initiative to Energy Efficiency 2.0 - a new narrative, recommendations and a strategy for the pursuit of energy efficiency in the future. The recommendations are aimed both at a Danish, European and wider global context – and could help Danish exports go further.

At this workshop, we invite sector stakeholders to contribute to a discussion on how Danish advantages, experiences and new ambitions in the field of energy efficiency can best be transformed into export earnings for relevant Danish suppliers of technologies and solutions within energy efficiency.
